1. False Bottom Drawers
This is probably one of the most tried methods for hiding money. By creating a hidden compartment within a regular drawer, you can store cash and valuables out of sight. This method involves adding a secondary layer beneath the drawer’s actual bottom, giving the appearance of an empty drawer.
It’s easier than you think to create it! First, you need to remove the drawer and measure its interior dimensions. then cut a piece of plywood to fit snugly within these dimensions. Install small blocks or spacers at the corners to support the false bottom. In the end, place the false bottom on top, and you’ve got a hidden compartment that blends seamlessly with your furniture.
2. Inside Picture Frames
You might already tried this one. Picture frames offer a discreet hiding spot that’s often overlooked. By using the space between the photo and the backing, you can create a hidden compartment for your money. Even though it’s a very popular method, it can still be successful if you choose wisely the frame you are going to use to hide your money.
All you need to do is remove the backing from the picture frame, place your cash against the frame and hang the frame back on the wall. Easy, right?
