Why do we say this? Well, an old machine is probably using a lot of electricity and detergent, and all of this is for not cleaning your clothes properly. There is no scenario in which this is a good deal.
If you know that you have an old washing machine and you want to save money on laundry, then it is time for a replacement. If you think that you can afford it, buy a new, performant machine. But if you don’t have the means, don’t panic. You can find a top-of-the-line machine secondhand.
This is always a good idea if you want to replace the old washing machine. Most of them are not even that old. Generally, they are almost new, and you can buy them for $300 or less. If you ask us, this is a good bargain!
