Can you guess what items are the most popular at Costco?Â
There are many reasons to love Costco! And in most cases, it’s difficult to leave the store without spending a couple of bucks on things you didn’t have on your list because they have so many nice and affordable products. You have various deals for groceries, appliances, clothing, and a lot of household items that you can buy in bulk. Isn’t that amazing?
Even though a wide variety of products may be purchased at Costco, you might be surprised by what actually sells the most, and we are curious how often you buy these things for yourself too. After all, let’s be honest, who can resist that mouth-watering Kirkland bacon?
1. Rotisserie chicken
This rotisserie chicken is usually big enough to feed an entire family! Costco’s precooked rotisserie chicken is one of the products that lures customers in despite the fact that the majority of the food items people purchase there typically require preparation. And it’s unquestionably one of the best-selling products!
Even more remarkable is that the business has kept offering this product for sale at the same astounding price of $4.99 for almost three pounds of chicken. I don’t know about you, but I am on my way to the store right now!
2. Pizza
When we say the magical word pizza,” we instantly think about major restaurants like Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and Domino’s. But how can we forget about the pizza from Costco? For example, did you know that on average, Costco brings in roughly 1 billion dollars in sales from their food court products, and their delicious pizza is at the top of the list? Some may dare to argue that it is tastier than rotisserie chicken. Wow, bold affirmation! What do you think? Personally, I can’t decide because both items are extremely savory and also pretty affordable compared to other fancy restaurants in the city. You can be confident that your stomach will be satiated and that your wallet won’t be empty, whether you just want a tiny bite from a slice or a whole pizza to indulge yourself.
Now that’s what I call a win-win situation!
3. Toilet paper
Do you remember March 2020, when everybody rushed to the supermarket to buy TP? Crazy times indeed! But even now, after the COVID-19 pandemic is over, buying toilet paper from Costco is still a thing. Why? Most likely because it’s affordable since it’s being sold in bulk, plus everybody needs it, right? According to several studies, Costco is at the top of the list when it comes to toilet paper sales. Can you believe they make around $400 million from toilet paper sales alone? Wow, that’s something!
As a fan of the brand, I can agree that their TP is thicker and more porous than others, so it’s going to last even longer, plus it’s cheaper!

4. Kirkland bacon
Holy moly, this is definitely one tasty piece of bacon! And due to its versatility, some people (including me) can’t get enough of it! There are too many ways to use bacon in your dishes for us to count on our fingers. And Costco is unquestionably the best location to buy this item.
This Kirkland Signature bacon, which is the most popular item that most Americans purchase on a daily basis, received outstanding ratings from a significant portion of the customers. Were you one of them? What do you think about this product? Tell us in the comments.
5. Pet food
Happy dog, happy owner! Since we all adore our furry companions, we want to offer them the best, especially when it comes to food. And where can you find high-quality food if not at Costco? When it comes to any need an animal might have, they’ve got you covered! Here you can find a huge variety of pet food (both wet and dry), which makes your life simple even if your furry friend is a little bit picky.
6. Fuel
Another item that’s on the list of “hot deals” is gasoline. Woohoo! With this horrible inflation, it’s no wonder why so many people come to Costco to buy fuel. Because it is cheaper than other places! About 10% of Costco’s overall sales, or $20 billion annually, are made up of purchases of gasoline. The fact that there is always a long line at gas stations is something I never liked, but the good news is that if you’re a member, you can receive a sizable gas reduction.
Depending on where they live, Costco customers could be saving up to $1 per gallon when buying gas from one of their stations!
7. Kirkland vodka
Are you throwing a party with a lot of people? Then it’s vodka time! Visit Costco if you’re looking for a sizable bottle of vodka that will satisfy you and your visitors without ruining the budget. And according to various customers, the beverage tastes pretty good either dry or combined with orange juice.
8. Hot dog combo
If you know, you know! You’re super hungry, and you’re passing by Costco when you suddenly decide it’s a good idea to have a snack. Well, the hog-dog combo awaits you and a hundred other customers because, according to various reports, it’s one of the best-selling items at Costco for a reason! Can you believe they are still selling this product at the amazing price of $1.50?
Due to the high demand for these hot dogs, the business has promised not to increase the cost of the hot dog and soda combination above $1.50 in the near future.
9. Turkey Jerky
It’s because a lot of people start paying attention to their physiques more and more during the pandemic years, or simply because this Kirkland Signature turkey jerky is so tasty you can’t resist? We will never know, but the fact that this is one of the best-selling products from Costco makes me happy. If you’re looking to boost your daily protein intake without worrying about fat, calories, or gluten, this definitely has to be your first choice.
10. Fruits and vegetables
Contrary to what a lot of people say, fresh fruit and vegetables are two items that have success at Costco. Why? Compared to a lot of other grocery stores, they know how to keep their customer base happy, and people seem to adore the enormous variety of fresh produce they have in their stores. There are already prepared platters that you can pick up and place on the table if you’re getting ready for a family gathering, a celebration, or a holiday. Now that’s something I really love about Costco!
However, be careful, because if your family isn’t big enough to consume the fruits and veggies before they go bad, you can opt for the frozen version, which might be a good alternative. Don’t worry because they aren’t expensive! Both fresh and frozen have really nice prices for every budget during this inflation.
