6. Learn to negotiate
If you want to pay less for any purchase, we think that you should improve your negotiation skills. We say this because, ok, for small items such as groceries or a new TV, you might be able to get good discounts, but if you want to buy a house or a boat, the same rules don’t apply anymore.
Even if, from time to time, you see the dealers advertise some kind of “deal” for this type of product, you will still need to haggle with the seller or the dealer if you want to get the best price. This is just how things work. You need to adapt in order to pay less for any purchase.
