All Kirkland Signature Coffees

Even though your bag of this common Costco product (whichever variety you prefer) might say “Roasted in the USA,” the beans are likely imported from somewhere else.

Domestically, coffee beans are grown commercially only in California, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, which means that most coffee beans are imported from other places, namely Colombia or Brazil, which are both looking at 10% tariffs.

With its 46% tariff, Vietnam is another significant coffee exporter. So, since almost all the coffee sold at Costco is imported, there isn’t much of a substitute. Any additional tariff charges on beans might trickle down to consumers in the shape of price peaks or modified package sizes (aka shrinkflation).

Eggs

Egg prices at this warehouse club are climbing yet again because of the price of tariffs on feed and other agricultural imports. The cost of growing chickens is also increasing, which means that egg prices are also on the rise.

Even bulk options like Kirkland Signature eggs are becoming less of a deal. Families who consistently rely on Costco for cheaper eggs might have to budget a little more for their grocery runs. If you use this common Costco product frequently, keep an eye on prices and stock up whenever you find a bargain.
