When I was little, in the 1980s, I had this thing with my grandfather where we were saving old pennies. It was fun. Well, he was the one who was very passionate about coin collecting (he was the one who taught me it’s called numismatics). I was just doing this to spend more time with him.
Anyway, if you happen to remember a piggy bank stashed away in your basement, go grab it! You may be surprised to know how much an old coin can be worth. For instance, a 1794 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar (a pretty rare coin) was sold for $10 million at an auction. So, take a look at your old silver coins!

I have 3 or 4 items I would like to know how to sell them. Where do I go to see what they are worth if anything.
Google any results of auctions of the items you have. That’s what I did and found out an old campbells soup sign sold for 16000$. Mine was in better shape and sold for 19000$
Try looking them up on eBay.
I have plenty of vinyl’s, one very old typewriter portable and playboy magazines.

I got three large boxes of the original Star Wars stuff that’s never been opened or out of the box. I forgot it was there and just found it. I got it when the base was getting rid of it all when they were closing down. I bought 3 shopping carts full for the kids and put it away. Then we moved and the rest is history. Never even looked at it.
