3. Tires
When you’re trying to be frugal, every little bargain makes you happy because you can put aside that money you always wanted to. But in this not-so-easy process, be careful not to lose your head over stuff that is better off being bought new. For example, tires are one of the things that no matter how hard I try to stick to a budget, I always buy new from my forever friend, Costco, and I can proudly agree that I am a happy customer!
If you’re still keen on buying tires from a yard sale, be careful and ask about their “history.” In some cases, people use them for more than three seasons in a row and then sell them as almost new.
Or others, sell them just because they’ve been in a crash with them. And if you’ve been a driver for a lot of years by now, you should know how unstable tires are after a car crash. Be wise with your spending at any yard sale!
