You probably know by now that after the winter holidays, clothing stores begin looking ahead to warmer months. When new winter clothing hits the shelves, it’s priced at the top of the range and seldom works its way down as winter arrives.

Retail experts advise shoppers to plan a year ahead to save money on winter clothing. Similar to other things you should buy after Christmas, winter apparel is usually cheaper in January. In fact, January and July are the two times of the year when stores turn over their merchandise for the new season. So, get that down jacket you’ve wanted!
