Are there any bills you have on autopay?

I’m all about simple things and finding ways to make my life easier, so you’d better believe that I like putting some of my bills on autopay.  It’s an easy thing to do, and it keeps me accountable without having to remember when it’s the due date for each one of them.

If you’re like me and you want to avoid late fees and maybe extra charges for not meeting the payment deadline, you probably set up your bank account to take care of your bills automatically.

But as easy and convenient as that is, sometimes it’s not exactly the smartest idea. If you’re a homeowner and you have to pay your mortgage, for example, it’s great to set your bills on autopay because the amount you have to pay each month isn’t going to fluctuate.

Whatever you choose to do and however you want to pay your bills, make sure you keep track of how much you have to pay and when you paid for them. It might take a while to get organized, but it will also keep you accountable.

Speaking of money and bills set on autopay, there are some subscriptions and expenses that you should always take care of yourself. You’ll find out why in a few seconds, so don’t go anywhere, because here are 7 bills you should never put on autopay.

  1. I have nothing on auto pay after someone used my account for nearly $1000, after speaking to my bank as to how to assure this would never happen again, first thing they said was did I have anything set up for auto pay (we had 2) they said cancel it, even if I knew who I set the account up with did I realize how other eyes see my information, cancelled them both that day.
