And don’t get us wrong, we love presents, and more than that, we love to give presents, but if you are on a tight budget, this can become quite difficult to achieve. If you used to buy expensive gifts for all of the members of your family, for your friends, and for your neighbors, our best advice would be to try to switch to cheaper alternatives.

Impulse purchases are the biggest enemy of your budget, and what you can do is try to create a separate budget for unplanned spending. This can help you by offering some flexibility.

  1. I am 80 years old and I already use all of the tips except one. I eliminated my cable service but missed my live local stations. I missed GMA live. I added the expensive cable cost.
